  14. A good deal of discussion has been going on about
  15. the provision of a usable quasi-standard for the hierarchy
  16. of input and font files.  I have been trying to beat up
  17. on the scheme that is emerging to see what its strengths and weaknesses
  18. are.  We are close to having enough evidence to make a recommendation,
  19. but we want to be able to say that we have some real-world
  20. experience before proposing it formally.
